For some reason, I’ve taken on an extreme hatred for SPAM. So much so, that I decided to stay up all night and install several extreme measures to prevent SPAM from ever bothering me (again).
I finally hunkered down and installed SpamAssassin 3.0.1. It is kicking a little arse right now as we speak - and with some custom rules kicking out messages on the server as well as once they’re in my inbox - no more will I fear checking mail on my Treo, just to see 15 spam messages. Those f—ers!
I also installed MovableType 3.121, and have a TypeKey registration, and do not allow anonymous comments - we’ll see how I like this, it’s unfortunate, but probably the best way to go.
You know, I wonder if the poor saps who got conned themselves into purchasing software to “increase their inbound link relevancy” by clogging the internet with shit, actually know how the software they are using works….. I mean honestly, do they think that this auto-pilot ass-retarded software coming by my site, and all my buddies’ sites and posting the same fucktard comment or simply sending messages to every possible name on my server will somehow magically get more people to buy their viagra pills, versus, someone else’s?
Fuck Spam. I’m over it!
