Grab a copy of iPhotoToGallery: http://zwily.com/iphoto/

Install it, and then open up iPhoto (or just quit and open it up again).

In iPhoto, select the photos you wish to upload, and click File -> Export.

If this is the first time, you can add a gallery, easily like so:

setup_gallery
Once you’re done, click the Gallery tab and put it in the appropriate gallery.
